AI Transparency & Use Statement

Published: February 23rd, 2026

Ozara uses advanced digital tools, including artificial intelligence (“AI”), to support patient experience and clinical workflow.

This statement explains how AI is used on the Ozara platform.

1. Purpose of AI Use

AI tools may be used to:

  • Organize and structure patient-submitted information
  • Assist with intake documentation
  • Generate summaries for clinician review
  • Improve communication clarity
  • Support administrative efficiency

AI is designed to support — not replace — licensed clinicians.

2. Clinical Decision-Making

AI tools:

  • Do not independently diagnose medical conditions
  • Do not independently prescribe medications
  • Do not make final treatment decisions

All medical decisions are made solely by licensed healthcare professionals employed or contracted by affiliated professional medical entities, including:

  • HLTH Lab Medical LLC
  • Doctors Office & Walk-In Clinic CA, Inc.
  • Doctors Office CT PLLC

Clinicians review relevant information before providing care.

3. Human Oversight

AI-generated outputs may assist clinicians in reviewing information more efficiently.

Licensed clinicians retain full authority over:

  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment plans
  • Prescribing decisions
  • Clinical documentation

AI outputs are subject to professional review and clinical judgment.

4. Asynchronous Communication

When patients submit information through messaging or intake forms:

  • AI may help structure the information
  • A clinician reviews submissions before making medical decisions
  • Response times may vary

AI does not provide emergency triage.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care.

5. Data Use & Privacy

AI tools operate within secure systems designed to protect patient information.

If you receive medical services:

  • Your health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state law
  • The professional medical entity providing care is responsible for medical recordkeeping

Ozara does not sell personal or medical information.

6. Limitations of AI

AI systems:

  • May generate incomplete or inaccurate summaries
  • Depend on the information provided by the patient
  • Do not replace in-person examination when medically necessary

Patients should provide accurate and complete information.

7. Ongoing Improvement

AI tools may be updated periodically to improve performance, safety, and accuracy.

Material changes to AI usage will be reflected in updated policies where required.
